What is Grass-Roots Snocross Racing?

If you've ever had an interest in snocross racing, this is your chance. The idea behind ERX was to create a motor park where amateur riders can come out and try racing in a nonthreatening environment. Our Grass-Roots Snocross Series features classes for all ages and skill levels. We've got classes for trail sleds, vintage sleds, 120s and more. Scroll down for a full list of classes.

Spectator Info

Spectator pricing is $10, kids 12 and under get in free. Racing begins at 5:30pm. Concessions, provided by Holiday Inn, will be available at the track.

Registration

We strongly encourage you to pre-register for the race. ERX will offer a $5 discount for those who pre-register. (regular registration is $35)

You MUST pre-register by midnight the day BEFORE the race. If you do not pre-register by midnight the day BEFORE the race – you CAN register at the track, but you will NOT be guaranteed a spot.

DUE TO THE ENORMOUS SUCCESS OF OUR GRASSROOTS SERIES, WE WILL BE IMPLEMENTING A REGISTRATION CAP THE DAY OF THE EVENT. PRE-REGISTER NOW TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A SPOT AT THE STARTING LINE!

Please familiarize yourself with the ERX Snocross Rulebook before race day as some things have changed. Check out our calendar for race dates. Minors must also fill out a Minor Waiver Form.

Please note: Completing the registration form does not guarantee you a spot in your class. Due to time constraints we reserve the right to limit class sizes, registration is first come first serve.

Minors

Any racer under the age of 18 must also fill out a Minor Waiver Form.

Classes*

We changed up the classes a bit this year to accommodate for all ages and sleds. Check out the full list below to determine what class(es) you should race in. Racers may compete in as many classes as they want, classes are $35 each, except for Pro-Lite which is $50 and features a 75% payout.

JUNIOR CLASSES

120 (4-6) - 120cc stock sleds, riders ages 4-6
120 (7-12) - 120cc stock sleds, riders ages 7-12
120 Champ/Open - 120cc open mod sleds, riders ages 4-12
Transition 8-12 - 300cc Ski-Doo Freestyle or 500cc Arctic Cat Sno Pro with 50% throttle limiter & restricted ECU, riders ages 8-12
Junior Novice - Up to 600cc fan or free air or 500cc Arctic Cat Sno Pro with 50% throttle limiter, riders ages 10-14
Junior - Up to 600cc liquid or any fan cooled sled up to 600cc, riders ages 13-17
Junior Girls - Any production snowmobile, open displacement, riders ages 13-17. Minimum of three riders.

VINTAGE / TRAIL CLASSES

Leaf Spring Fan - Any production leaf spring sled which is fan cooled or free air.
Leaf Spring Open - Any production leaf spring sled, open engine displacement.
Vintage 1995 - Any production snowmobile produced in or before 1995, open engine displacement.
Ditch Banger - Any production consumer trail snowmobile, open displacement. No purpose-built snocross race sleds allowed.
Plus 30 - Any production snowmobile up to 600cc

SNOCROSS CLASSES

Novice 600 - For beginning racers only! Ideal for first or second time riders, youth riders, old timers, etc. Not for experienced snocrossers who compete on a regular basis at a regional or national level. Open to liquid cooled sleds up to 600cc.
Sport 600 - Up to 600cc liquid cooled or 1050cc 4-stroke.
Sport Open -Open displacement 2-stroke or 4-stroke.
Pro-Lite Super Stock - Up to 600cc stock or 1050 4-stroke. 75% payback, minimum of three riders required.
Pro Open - Open displacement 2-stroke or 4-stroke. 75% payback, minimum of three riders required.

4:30 – 5:05    Practice laps (Ten minutes for riders to get into Chalet for drivers meeting)
5:15 – 5:25    Drivers meeting in chalet
5:30 – 6:45    First heats
6:45 – 7:00    Intermission / Track prep
7:00 – 8:45    Second heats

Trailer Parking Passes

Trailer Parking Passes are available for $500 for the entire race season. You may leave your trailer parked from December 1st - March 10th. Contact Katie for more information.

VIP Parking

VIP parking is now available for both our Grassroots Races as well as ISOC Regional Races. $200 for front row, $100 for back row. Contact Katie for more information.
