GRASSROOTS MOTO-X RETURNS TO ERX THIS THURSDAY!

Round 3 of Heinen's Yamaha Motocross Racing Series Drops the Gate at 5:00pm

Another evening of motocross racing action for everyone is here. Round 3 of the Heinen’s/Yamaha Grassroots Motocross Racing Series is poised to shred the perfectly manicured track at ERX Motor Park this Thursday as riders of all ages and bikes of all sizes take center stage. In traditional ERX fashion, the evening is filled with no-pressure racing and family fun as friends gather to race and watch at what has quickly become one of the best known and fan friendly motocross facilities in the upper Midwest.

“This is our second season in the dirt and the word has finally gotten out in the motocross community,” said ERX Co-Owner Chris Carlson. “We really try to target the casual racer or family. We provide a safe, professional, and affordable venue for racers and fans with an emphasis on fun, and people seem to really appreciation our no-pressure approach.”

The numbers speak to this as well, as both participation and attendance continues to grow. The first two events of the season were tremendously successful, and all signs point towards continued growth in terms of both numbers of participants and fans for the final two races of the spring/summer season.

Those looking to participate in this Thursday’s event are strongly encouraged to pre-register, or at the very least register early on Thursday. The cost is just $25 per class, or $30 for “A” class racers. Come early and for just $15 more you can enjoy open-track practice from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Gate admission for fans is just $8 with kids 12 and under free!

According to Hahne, the job, which once took 4-5 hours to complete, is now finished in just two to three hours. Perhaps equally impressive, it was done with better results and in more comfort.
