LAST CHANCE OF THE YEAR! BEATERCROSSsm RETURNS TO ERX THIS THURSDAY
PLUS - Check Out the All-New UTV RACE CLASS Added for the Final Event
The final race of the NOS Energy Drink Beatercross sm Series is here, and we’ve saved the best for last. If you haven’t had a chance to see what the buzz is all about for yourself, now is the time to make your way to ERX Motor Park in Elk River this Thursday, August 26th. The most twisted form of wheel-to-wheel auto racing you have ever seen will be on display one final time, and we’re making sure it will be a race to remember.
So just what is all the excitement about? Picture six well-used compact cars or trucks, lined up two-by-two on a widened motocross track racing side-by-side. More than dirt track racing, our Beatercrosssm series leaves the moguls and tabletop jumps intact and don’t forget about the abundance of coincidental contact.
Two weeks ago more than 700 fans took in the action at ERX, for a show that left everyone in anticipation for more. And more is just what we have in store for the final race of the season. Early race entries have the number of race cars and pickups swelling over 30. Plus we’ve added a Sport UTV class to mix, featuring up to six Polaris RZR, Yamaha Rhino, Kawasaki Teryx or Arctic Cat Prowler vehicles racing wheel-to-wheel.
Mix it all together with the fan friendly ERX Motor Park; great food and drink courtesy of our friends and the always Friendly Buffalo; and of course free samples from title sponsor, NOS Energy Drink and you have the makings for a great evening of affordable, family entertainment.
The racing action gets underway at 5:30pm, but racers can check-in anytime between 12 and 4pm. A mandatory drivers meeting will take place at 4:45pm with practice laps afterwards. All cars must pass a pre-race inspection checklist before they are allowed on the track. Interested UTV racers should visit Beatercrosssm page for details.
Auto and truck racers should also take note of a few key rule changes that have been implemented since the last race. Please check out the Beater-Xsm Rules for details.
Race registration is just $30 when you pre-register or $40 at the gate. Spectators can take in all the action for just $10 for adults with children 12 and under admitted for free.
